Investment Review day 43 of 50: Apple $AAPL (sold)

Apple is a global powerhouse renowned for its superior design, cutting-edge technology, and seamless user experiences. Its diverse product ecosystem, which includes iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, the Apple Watch, and now the Apple Vision Pro, coupled with robust software solutions and online services such as the App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple TV+, makes for one of the world’s most valuable brands, famous for its ethos of privacy, simplicity, and user-centric design.

I was an $AAPL shareholder from 2008 to 2019, eventually selling for a 16x return. However, the stock has appreciated a further 500% since then, and my sell rationale (‘No longer believe in their growth potential or innovation’), is looking rather short-sighted in hindsight!

Could it be time to course-correct my error and add this one back to the portfolio? I’ve asked myself that many times over the past few years, but can never seem to find the drive to commit!

I’m putting my holdings under the microscope. Over the next 50 days I’ll break down my whole investment portfolio. Wins, losses, and the ‘why’ behind it all. And on day 50 I’m going to share my full portfolio so you can see how my strategies played out in the real world over the last twenty years and what we can all learn together. Follow along for the journey! #StockAnalysis #50daychallenge #visionpro
